Day 9 - Not So Good

Well yesterday started well, like usual, but ended not so well. I started playing my normal style, loose yet aggressive at a $0.50/$1 cash table on ladbrokes. Playing suited cards from most positions. I was feeling good about my game, took down a few posts from check raise bluff’s and a few river bets with middle pair, which saw my $100 turn into $158. Then disaster hit. I played one of my favourite hands, Ace-King from middle position with a raise to $4, with 2 limpers behind me. I had 3 callers, more then i would of liked. The flop came Ace - Jack - 5, a great flop. I raised to $16, and was re-raised to $40. I called after a little debate, but thought Ace-Queen would probably make that move, wanting to push me of the pot. The turn brought a 3, again a great card for me. Surely pocket 3’s would fold on the flop? The board was 2 hearts, 1 diamond, 1 club. I held ace spades, king of hearts. I bet the turn for $45, and was pushed all in, pot committed i called. The river was another 5. He turned over Ace-5, and had me beat. After this i decided to leave the game for the day, i really didn’t want to tilt, and thought i would continue the next day with a positive mindset.
