Day 8 - Going Strong

Filed under: Poker Challenge — admin at 1:27 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2007

Well, sorry for the short wait for this post, I’ve been pretty busy recently, but thats not stopped me from hitting the virtual tables hard. Well this is going to be an update for the past couple of days, but i still have 4-5 hours of play time left today so I’ll update that tomorrow. I have been playing the $0.50/$1 No-Limit tables over at ladbrokes for the past couple of days, and have done really well, to my surprise. I played fairly loosely limping with suited connectors and was getting paid when i hit some well disguised straights. I won my largest pot to date, $98 with a straight against 3 of a kind, which i played aggressively, instead of the typical trap plays. I then jumped in to a $10 heads up, which i lost, after a fool i played repeatedly went all in every hand, maybe he had to go? Well anyway i called when i had pocket 4’s and he showed 9-5, was a coinflip which sadly he won, but don’t worry i peppered him with abuse via the chat box, lol.

Well thats all i can really remember i played fairly late into the night. Check back tomorrow for a “proper” update and hopefully i will finish writing a couple of articles i have recently started.
